About This Tour
Two of Morocco's most extraordinary cities in one immersive weekend — the world's largest medieval medina at Fez and the elegant royal capital of Rabat, covering over 1,400 years of Moroccan history in two remarkable days.
Day 1 — Fez: Depart Marrakech and drive north through the Middle Atlas mountains. Arrive Fez in time for a full afternoon in the medina: Chouara tanneries, Bou Inania Medersa (entrance included), Al-Attarine spice souk and the deep medina alleyways. Evening dinner in Fez (own expense) before overnight in a medina riad.
Day 2 — Rabat: Drive west to Morocco's royal capital. Hassan Tower (800-year-old unfinished minaret), Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Kasbah des Oudaias above the Atlantic, and the extraordinary Chellah — Roman and medieval ruins with nesting storks. All entrance fees included. Return to Marrakech in the evening.
